The RiverFront

The RiverFront reconnects the downtown Omaha and Council Bluffs Park systems to the Missouri River for the first time in several generations. In a public-private partnership, the exceptionally talented OJB design team took a cohesive approach to create three unique parks across the 72-acre site. The RiverFront received top honors from the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) 2024 ULI Americas Awards of Excellence for urban spaces.

Site Pieces collaborated with the design team to develop a wide range of pieces that included new designs, such as the Monoline No. 2 Bag Holder, Ping Pong Table, and the Alpine 46er Chair and Cascade Chaise along with a variety of custom benches – the largest being a 500-foot bleacher system complete with stairs, ADA ramps, and integrated lighting.
